NESO launches new feedback window on three RESP Methodology areas

NESO- two cyclists cycling through single track road with wooded area each side

NESO today launches a new two‑week feedback window 2–13 March on three areas of the Regional Energy Strategic Plan (RESPs) Methodology.

This follows the six‑week consultation held in late 2025 and reflects customer, stakeholder and Ofgem requests for further technical detail.

What are the three areas?

The three areas now published for review are:

  • Spatial context for gas and biomethane
  • Whole system optimisation
  • Specification of strategic investment need

The purpose of the feedback window is to invite customers and stakeholders to share their views on the three areas.

During the feedback window, you can respond via two routes:
- Firstly, via an easy-to-use online response form
- Secondly - a series of interactive webinars

Visit our webpages to review the new published documents and access the link to respond.
