Innovation Annual Summary
From April 2024 to May 2025, our Innovation portfolio has undergone change to reflect our transition to NESO, incorporating a new focus on whole energy systems.
We have established strong new partnerships with industry and academia, allowing us to drive innovation and take on a range of transformative projects, as well as expanding our understanding of how artificial intelligence (AI) can support our operations.
We have grown our capabilities, and our team, making full use of the Network Innovation Allowance (NIA) and Strategic Innovation Fund (SIF) to address our strategic priorities.
