Expression of Interest (EoI) – Balancing, Settlement and Dispatch Expert Panel
The NESO Call for Input is accompanied by an Expression of Interest (EoI) to join an Industry Expert Panel for Balancing, Settlement and Dispatch reforms as part of the RNP programme with the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero and Ofgem.
This panel will help to further shape these reforms and their implementation. Further Expert Panels will be established by the RNP programme later this year.
In order to ensure a diverse cross-section of stakeholder views, we are currently asking for expressions of interest for the Balancing, Settlements and Dispatch Expert panel. If, having reviewed the call for input, this is something you would like to be considered for, please complete the Expression of Interest proforma using the link below by 27 February 2026.

It is anticipated that this panel will meet monthly, with frequency being regularly reviewed. You will also be expected to read through any pre-read paperwork prior to meetings taking place.
We will only accept one application per organisation.
All candidates will be notified w/c 11 March 2026 and we expect the first introductory meeting to be held shortly after.
