Connections Reform Update

Dear customers,

As we navigate towards a pivotal moment in the connections reform process I wanted to provide you all with an update on our plans for the coming days. The formation of the new connections delivery pipeline is a hugely important milestone and the outcome of nearly three years of collaboration across NESO, industry, network companies, Ofgem and DESNZ and many months of detailed work to implement the new connections rules set out in codes and methodologies. The pipeline is in the final stages of assurance which is on-track to conclude tomorrow (Friday, 05 December).

On Monday, we will communicate the outcomes of the queue formation process as follows: On Monday morning we will host a webinar to share high level results with all customers. The webinar link will be available on our website from Friday morning. Following this we will issue individual notifications to customers regarding the status of each of their projects.

We will also be hosting further webinars and engagement through next week and we will walk through all of the detail at the webinar.
